A recent gathering in Madrid united faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers shared personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how news european commission education can help build more inclusive communities.
During the event, participants explored themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when supported by education and dialogue.
